Magnolia Commissions
A recap of five custom magnolia paintings.
With my work on view at The Carolina Inn throughout 2025, I had a handful of exciting magnolia commissions come my way over the summer and fall and wanted to document them here on the blog.
Magnolia #1
The collector: A UNC alumnae, as a gift for his wife to welcome their new baby, and this was extra special because they were married at the Inn (where one of my magnolia paintings permanently lives!)
The details: A 30x40 with buds+blooms in different stages, medium density of foliage and light blue near the top

The collector: A former UNC employee and alumna, for her home
The details: A 36x48 with 2 to 3 blooms and lots of leaves, inspired by the painting at the Inn

The collector: UNC’s Phi Mu sorority
The details: A 24x30 inspired by the painting “In Conversation”
